Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers below to frequently asked questions regarding our international removal services, conveniently sorted by category.

Transport & Planning

Do you operate on fixed routes between the Netherlands and Spain?

Yes, we provide weekly trips between the Netherlands and Spain using our own vehicles. This allows us to carry out your removal flexibly and efficiently – in both directions.

Can I choose a specific removal date?

You can always inform us of your preferred date. We will look into the possibilities and coordinate the planning as closely as possible with your wishes.

How long does the transport take on average?

Please allow for an average transport time of 5 to 10 days, depending on the route and scheduling.

Do you also handle partial removals (groupage)?

Yes, all our international removals are carried out via groupage. This means your household effects are combined with other shipments, which keeps costs low.

How are my household goods protected during transport?

Items that you cannot pack yourself will be professionally protected by us using moving blankets and other protective materials to prevent damage.

What happens in case of delays (e.g., due to weather or traffic)?

Unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or weather conditions are beyond our control. In such cases, we do everything we can to deliver your goods as quickly and safely as possible. Naturally, we will keep you informed.

Will my removal be loaded and unloaded by your team?

Yes, we take care of the entire removal process. Your household effects will be cleared from the property, loaded, transported, and placed in the correct rooms at the new location by our team.

How will I know when my goods are being collected and delivered?

Collection and delivery are always scheduled in combination with our route planning. We will contact you by telephone beforehand to coordinate the exact date and a time indication.

Insurance & Damage

Are my household effects insured during the removal?

Yes, your goods are covered by standard basic insurance up to a maximum of €23,000 per inventory load.

What do I need to arrange myself regarding insurance?

If you require higher coverage limits or intend to transport highly valuable goods (such as fine art), we advise contacting your own home contents insurance provider.

What happens in case of damage? How do I report it?

Any potential damage must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery, including photos of the damage. Please note that an excess fee (deductible) of €250 applies, as stated in our terms and conditions.

Packing & Preparation

Do I have to pack everything myself, or do you handle that?

Your goods must be ready for removal. This means:
– Small items packed into moving boxes
– Furniture disassembled (including fixtures/hardware)
– TVs packed in their original boxes
– Fragile items wrapped in bubble wrap
If preferred, we also offer a professional packing service.

Do you supply moving boxes and packing materials?

Yes, we can supply moving boxes and packing paper at an additional cost. You are also welcome to source your own materials, provided they are of high quality.

How can I best prepare for my removal?

We recommend:
– Label all items with your name and designated room
– Keep an inventory list of your boxes
This helps maintain a clear overview upon delivery.

Can you disassemble and reassemble furniture?

Yes, we offer this service. Please inquire about the options and associated costs.

Do you move fragile items such as fine art or pianos?

Yes, we have extensive experience in transporting fragile, delicate, and specialty items.
